At TWC Facilities, we’ve once again demonstrated our dedication to supporting our local community by donating 30 sleeping bags to the Thirsk Homeless Organisation (THO) as part of their Christmas Appeal. This generous act will provide warmth and comfort to individuals in need during the winter months.
In addition, the TWC Facilities team actively collected essential items to further assist THO’s efforts. These donations were distributed around local homeless shelters and organisations in York, Northallerton, Middlesbrough and Leeds.
Martin Williams, Director of TWC Facilities and Kodiak Self Storage in Sowerby, Thirsk, has further shown his support by donating a storage container to both THO and Sports Wear for All (SWFA). SWFA is an inspiring not-for-profit initiative that helps children participate in sports by providing a loan and swap service for boots, sports trainers, and other equipment. The storage container offers these organisations a secure space to store their donations and supplies, enabling them to expand their outreach.
“Being involved in the local community and supporting these incredible initiatives is something I’m deeply passionate about,” said Martin Williams. “The work being done by THO and SWFA is truly transformative, and I’m honoured that we can contribute to their efforts to make a real difference in people’s lives.”
