What a pleasure it was for our Sarah to bump into our City Mayor Marvin Rees at the local shops in Lawrence Weston this afternoon.

Marvin, like us, is passionate about the environment and renewable energy. It was great to speak with him in person about the steps Professional Hygiene Ltd have already taken to reduce our carbon footprint, and what we have in the pipeline to make even more positive changes and give back to the community.

Our new 12000 sq ft waste transfer station has been designed and fitted out with equipment and processes to handle waste received efficiently, safely and correctly.

We also have a large room within our Waste Transfer Station allowing for customers both current and prospective to see how the waste is dealt with and discuss with us in a covid compliant face to face meetings for all your waste, washroom and janitorial supply requirements.

All collections are documented using an iPad system making the procedure as paperless as possibly. The data is then uploaded into our system and you will receive a copy of your documentation via email withing 24 hours of your collection.

We have recently changed our bagged waste collections from out transfer station to 40ft Trailers allowing more waste to be moved at one time reducing the amount of road journeys and our carbon footprint.

All our vans are fitted out in a way that keeps the different waste streams segregated. The vans are fully stocked with replacement bags, sharps bins and other items needed .
