TWC Facilities is proud to be supporting the health and wellbeing of its team by taking part in a Healthy Heart Check programme in partnership with Heartbeat Primary Care CIC.

The initiative will give eligible employees the opportunity to take part in a quick, simple assessment designed to identify potential heart health risks and encourage positive lifestyle choices.

Cardiovascular disease is one of the leading causes of death in the UK, and many risk factors such as high blood pressure and high cholesterol often show no symptoms. A Heart Health Check helps individuals understand their risk and take steps to protect their health.

The workplace checks will include a blood pressure check, cholesterol test, BMI measurement, and personalised lifestyle advice, with healthcare professionals calculating each participant’s “Healthy Heart Age” and assessing their risk of heart attack or stroke over the next 10 years.
